Adam Sandler is in talks to star in new comedy `I Hate You Dad`
The Hollywood funnyman is set to take on the role of a father who moves in with his son the day before his wedding and takes an instant dislike to the bride-to-be.
`Saturday Night Live` performer Andy Samberg is being lined up to take on the role of Adam`s son despite being only twelve years his junior in real life.
The project - which is being produced by Adam`s Happy Madison production company for Columbia Pictures - is currently in development and doesn`t have a director attached.
Adam`s next movie `Just Go With It` co-stars Jennifer Aniston and Nicole Kidman and he has a number of movies in development including `Zookeeper` and `Jack and Jill`, which will see the actor play a twin brother and sister.
Andy has previously taken on supporting roles in `Nick & Norah`s Infinite Playlist` and `I Love You, Man` and will next be seen on the big screen in `Friends with Benefits` with Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis.
